Email notifications

Production Planner sends transactional emails to keep your team informed about important actions. These are not marketing emails. They are triggered by specific events in the application, such as inviting a team member or requesting a file.

When emails are sent

Emails are sent in the following situations:

  • Project invitation: when you invite someone to a project, they receive an email with the project name, who invited them, and a link to accept or decline.
  • Organization invitation: when you invite someone to your organization, they receive an email with a link to join.
  • File request: when you request a file from someone, they receive an email with a secure upload link.

Email content

Each email includes:

  • The recipient's name.
  • The name of the person who triggered the action (e.g., who sent the invite).
  • The relevant project or organization name.
  • A clear call-to-action button linking to the appropriate page in the application.

Emails are delivered through Postmark, a transactional email service. They are sent from a verified sender address and include standard unsubscribe and company information in the footer.

No unnecessary emails

Production Planner only sends emails when an action requires the recipient to do something (accept an invite, upload a file). There are no digest emails, no weekly summaries, and no promotional messages. Every email you receive from the application is directly relevant to your work.
